This week I would like to share with you 15 of my favorite motivational quotes. These quotes were responses from a discussion on  “ExecuNet, Executive Suite,” one of the groups on LinkedIn. This discussion was presented by one of the members, Al Bagocious. Al had a tremendous response from the members and the responses are still coming in. With Al’s permission, I would like to present to you the question “What’s the one motivational quote you rely on when things get tough? This is a great question for the job seeker to think about when going through tough times.

There were literally hundreds of motivational quotes in the discussion that helped these job seekers through tough times to choose from. Honestly they were all great! Below are motivational quotes from 15 different members of this brilliant group of professionals. Some of these quotes may be familiar to you while others you may be reading or hearing for the first time. Thank you to all the contributors to Al's question. All the quotes written below are a great reminder of encouragement to us all.

      Think about how you would feel with the perfect job for you. Feel that and see yourself working there.

      If you can do that, your brain will automatically and literally rewire the old or present situation with the feeling and thought of seeing yourself working there. Do not allow the past thoughts in your mind. Pay attention to your body and mind. This is how: When your body feels sad or down about job situation, immediate remember the thought before the feeling in your body. Replace it with your new feeling and thought. You will train your body to align with what you want so the brain will not rewire it back to the old ways. Know this. Every thought is followed with a feeling.
