Below are Beautiful Job Seeker Holiday Tips! These Tips are Both Simple and Powerful!
The 3 gifts the job seeker and everyone around the globe can give to yourself through the holidays:
- Identify the things that cause you stress and the things that cause you joy.
- Write 5 things you enjoy doing.
- Write 10 things you are grateful for in your life.
Tip #1: Job Seeker Holiday Tips!
Identify the things that cause you stress and the things that cause you joy.
Keep a journal in 2 columns as you identify what causes you stress and joy. One column is titled “Stress.” The second column is titled “Joy.” Look at the list of what causes you stress to see if you can eliminate any or all of these stresses so you can focus on what causes you joy.
Tip #2 Job Seeker Holiday Tips!
Write 5 things you enjoy. After writing 5 things you enjoy, commit to doing at least 2 of them by a certain date
Tip #3 Job Seeker Holiday Tips!
Write 10 things you are grateful for in your life. For example, you could be grateful being a part of the dream team when you were working at your last job. Or the time spent with a loved one before they passed. Establish an attitude of gratitude by keeping a journal of 10 things you are grateful for. Do this daily to get into the habit of focusing on the positive aspects of your life.
It’s is helpful to understand something that I learned and have experienced after I was downsized from my dream job several years ago. And, more recently experienced the biggest losses in my life when my mom and my child both passed last summer. Here it is… "Whatever is in your thoughts is what you will bring into your life. The universe or whatever your faith is, ALWAYS says “Yes” to what you want by the thoughts you are thinking."
